POPvault was founded by Brian Poehner in the fall of 2023 after retiring from the entertainment business where he held numerous senior leadership positions in the music industry with some of the nation’s largest music, movie, and video game retailers.  After 35+ years in the music business, Brian also worked in the apparel industry building and managing e-commerce websites & operations for some of Americas premier brands.

Brian is also a co-founder of Record Store Day, now a worldwide event, which promotes the independent music retailer.  These are the entrepreneurs and music fans that built the careers of the legends and innovators of popular music.

As an avid collector of music, pop culture, and art his goal was simple.  Source and aggregate the most unique, original, and creative products and present them on one convenient website for fans.  This is a labor of love for all things artistic! Please enjoy!
